How is rainbow formed?

~ WEDNESDAY: DECIMALS VALUE + RENAMING~

Today you've learnt:

1) VALUE of digits in decimals

Example:  253.4

Value of digit 2 is 200.
Value of digit 5 is 50.
Value of digit 3 is 3.
Value of digit 4 is 0.4

Digit 2 stands for  200 ....or 2 hundreds.
Digit 5 stands for  50 .... or 5 tens.
Digit 3 stands for  3 .....or 3 ones.
Digit 4 stands for  0.4 ..... or 4 tenths.


2) Renaming tenths as ones and tenths in decimals

14 tenths = 1.4
34 tenths = 3.4
25 tenths = 2.5
46 tenths = 4.6

I hope you've enjoyed your June holiday and have also done your revision at the same time! =)

Tomorrow will be your first day back in school and I am sure all of you are excited to see your friends again!

Here are 2 important things to note:

1) Bring your whiteboard marker + individual whiteboard everyday.


2) Bring your 4B books according to your Monday's time-table. ( We'll be starting on Decimals for Math)

3) Supplementary Class will start tomorrow as usual, from 1.30p.m. to 3 p.m.

~ Icebergs ~

Dear Angels,

Look at the pictures of icebergs in Antarctica and Greenland below.

Icebergs are HUGE, a few hundred feets above the water, and they are as old as a few thousand years old to even few hundred-thousand-years old!

There is a rare video footage of a giant iceberg rolling in the water at the end of the video!
