~ Timed Trial 6 ~

Answers for Timed Trial 6

1) 306 - 34 = 272

272 divide by 2 = 136 (smaller number)

Bigger number ---->   136 + 34 = 170

2i)  3 units -----> 30

1 unit ---->  30 divided by 3 = 10

5 units ---->  10 x 5 = 50 ( The number is 50)

ii)   9/10 of the number means 9/10 of 50.

10 units ----->  50

1 unit ---> 50 divided by 10 = 5

9 units ---->  9 x 5 = 45

9/10 of the numbe is 45

3)  Change 2/5 into 4/10.

So 3 whole and 4/10   is  3.4

4)  Change 3/25  into  12/100.

So 7 whole and 12/100  is 7.12

5) Change 0.005 into 5/1000.

5/1000 simplest form is 1/200

So 3.005 is    3whole 1/200.
