Make sure you know how to use:
2) 'neither .... nor'
Example 1:
Cherie did not go to school. Cherie did not go to student care.
Cherie went neither to school nor to student care.
Rule 1: Always change the negative verb "did not go" into a POSITIVE FORM of the verb "went".
* Look at how the verb is actually changed to the past tense: did not go changed to went.
Example 2:
Atikah is not naughty.
Her siblings are not naughty.
Neither Atikah nor her siblings are naughty.
Rule 2: Make sure you use the appropriate grammar (is/are) based on the LAST SUBJECT, in this case "sibilings" so we'll use "are".
